ＣＨ１８

ＣＨ１８は、東京都杉並区の閑静な住宅街に建つ「中庭を持つ住宅」です。小さな敷地に建つ住宅なので、中庭の形状を工夫し、内部居室の一体感を確保しつつ、午前中から午後まで日差しの入りやすい外形としました。また、その後も夕方まで１階に太陽光が入るように、大開口部の配置の工夫しています。

１階は、全体を土間床とし、緩い三角の緑の茂った中庭と接する、家族の憩い・食事・仕事・趣味のための一体の空間としました。内壁は漆喰塗り、天井は智頭杉の構造材の現しとし、心地よくも力強い空間となっています。

２階は、寝室と水回り、外部デッキで構成されています。屋根に合わせた勾配天井となっており、天井の高い寝室からは北側ハイサイド窓を通して空の様子が安らぎを与えます。

濃いグレーに塗られたモルタルの外壁が道路に面した空地も多くの緑が植えられています。

CH18

CH18 is a “residence with a courtyard” built in a quiet residential area in Suginami Ward, Tokyo. Since the house is built on a small site, we devised the shape of the courtyard(in other words an exterior shape) to ensure a sense of unity among the interior living rooms and to allows sunlight to easily enter the house from morning to afternoon. We also devised the arrangement of large openings to allow sunlight to continue to enter the first floor until the evening afterwards.
The entire first floor has an earthen floor and is connected to a triangular green courtyard, creating an integrated space for family relaxation, meals, work, and hobbies. The interior walls are plastered, and the ceiling is made of exposed Chizu cedar, creating a space that is both comfortable and powerful.
The second floor consists of the bedrooms, water area, and exterior deck. The ceiling is sloped to match the roof, and from the high-ceilinged bedroom, the color of the sky through the high-sided window on the north side is comforting.
The mortar exterior walls are painted dark gray, and the vacant lot facing the street is also planted with many greenery .

内部空間

内部に入ると、コンクリート土間の床、智頭杉現しの天井に挟まれた空間には、キッチンカウンターや棚板の三層合板が水平の線を描いている。正面に中庭の緑、奥に階段など。

Interior Space

When you enter the interior, you will find the space between the concrete earthen floor and the ceiling with exposed Chizu cedar beams, where the three-ply plywood of the kitchen counter and shelving draws horizontal lines. The green of the courtyard is in front of your line of sight, and the staircase is in the back.

The Akari-shoji screen has been moved above the line, to the round pillars. The space with the sofa along the courtyard was partitioned off as a room.

内部空間

空間の内で、智頭杉の梁が構成する力強い天井と鉄と三層合板で作られた階段が水平の線を描き、智頭杉の柱が垂直の線を描く。

Interior Space

Within the space, the strong ceiling composed of Chigashira cedar beams and the staircase made of steel and three-ply plywood form a horizontal line, while the Chigashira cedar pillars form a vertical line.

洗面脱衣

洗面カウンターや固定棚板は杉の３層合板で作られました。

Bathroom

The washbasin counter and fixed shelving boards were made of three-ply cedar plywood.

浴室

デッキを介して外部に開いています。窓には白いブラインドが設置されます。

Open to the outside via the deck. White blinds will be installed on the windows.

階段方向を振り返る。

２階寝室は登り梁を見せた勾配天井が架かり、北側壁上部には高窓が作られました。デッキの線が伸びて作られた三角形の吹抜けにはＦＲＰグレーチングが乗せられ１階に光を落とします。

The second floor bedroom has a sloped ceiling with a climbing beam, and a high window was created above the north wall. The triangular atrium, created by the extension of the deck line, is covered with FRP grating to cast light onto the first floor.
