楽々な家 「楽々な家」と名付けられた家は、設計の途中までは「面倒くさくない家」と建て主によって呼ばれていました。生活するなかで手間の掛かることの少ない住みやすい（使いやすい）家としたいとのお考えからでした。 必要なだけの大きさで作られた平屋の住宅です。１階だけで生活が完結し面積も大きくはないので、いつまでも楽しく住み続けることのできる家になったと思います。 長方形平面の中央部に背の高い部屋があります。生活の中心でもあるこの空間は、部屋の上部南側からの採光のみで空間がかたちづくられており、建物周囲の環境とは隔てられた位置に、柔らかな内部空間を形成しています。 この中央部の背の高い部屋（居間）の周囲は、収納・水回り・個室・土間などが、引戸を介して取り囲んでおり、居間と周囲の部屋はあいまいに仕切られています。周囲の部屋の存在が、建物周囲の環境との間のクッションとなって、居間の内部空間を充実したものとしています。
Rakuraku na Ie The house named “Rakuraku na Ie” was called “a house with no hassle” by the client until halfway through the design process. The reason for this was that the client wanted to create a house that was easy to live in (easy to use) with few hassles in daily life. The house is a one-story house built just as large as it needs to be, with all the living space on the first floor, and the area is not too large, so it is a house that can be lived in happily for a long time. There is a tall room in the center of the rectangular plan. This space, which is also the center of living, is lit only from the upper south side of the room, creating a soft interior space that is separated from the surrounding environment. The tall room (living room) in the center of the building is surrounded by storage rooms, a water room, a private room, and an earthen floor through sliding doors. The presence of the surrounding rooms provides a cushion between the building and its surroundings and fulfilling the interior space of the living room. |

楽々な家・模型写真 天井高のある居室（居間）を中央に置き、それを囲うように周囲に他の居室、水回りや副次的な空間を配置しました。天井高のあるリビングは模型中央の三角屋根の部分。平らな屋根の平べったい直方体の部分は居間周囲のその他の空間となっています。三角屋根の南側上部のハイサイドライトより太陽光を採り入れます。

外観（部分） 楽々な家は、埼玉県上尾市の郊外に建てられた小さな平屋です。外壁はガルバリウム鋼板の波板貼り、屋根はガルバリウム鋼板の立櫨葺きとされました。
Exterior (partial) ”Rakuraku na IE” is a small one-story house built in the suburbs of Ageo City, Saitama Prefecture. The exterior walls are covered with corrugated galvalume steel sheets, and the roof is made of galvalume steel sheets with a standing sumac roofing. |

広い土間 玄関を入った広い土間はリビングと格子戸を介してつながり、居間の一部としても使われます。また、土間の特性を生かして土の付いた植木鉢や自転車を置いたりもできる融通の利く室となっています。

天井の高い居間 背の高い中央の居間の周囲に、土間の他、キッチンや引戸を介して個室がつながっています。中央の居間は高い位置からの採光を得て心地よい内部空間を形成しています。土間との間は三本引きの格子戸であいまいに仕切られています。

ハイサイドライト まわりを囲まれ窓の無い天井の高い居間には、南側上部のハイサイドライトより直接南の太陽光が注ぎます。

リビングと個室 柔らかい空間を持つ居間には、時間の経過に伴って太陽光の光の帯が動きます。居間と個室は引込み戸でつながっているので、戸を収納すれば一体の空間ともなります。

居間収納 居間の壁には奥行きのある収納が作られて、様々なものを簡単に収納できます。

居間より個室を見る 個室の北側には小窓が付き、居間と個室を一体で使用した際には、居間からも外の様子に触れることができます。

個室の引戸を閉めてみる 個室との間の引込み戸を閉じると、収納の引戸とともに周囲を板戸が囲い、居間は閉じた板の間となります。
