若葉台の家住宅

「若葉台の家」は、丘の上に建つ古い住宅の建て替えです。 家族の人数も少なくなった今、大きな古い住宅をリフォームして住み続けるか、小振りの住宅に建て替えて住むかを検討され、建て替えをされたご家族の家です。 ご家族は、古い家の住宅の耐震性や熱環境を良くしながら大きな家全体をリフォームするよりも、使い勝手の良い規模で間取りの良い家として新築した方が、将来にわたって快適に住み続けられるだろうとお考えになり、建て替えを選択されました。 丘の上にあるこの住宅の敷地から見渡す景色を取り入れつつ、庇を大きく出して夏冬の太陽光の採り入れを工夫しました。外壁は焼杉にて仕上げられました。
”The House in Wakabadai” is a rebuilding of an old house on a hill. With a smaller family now, the family is considering whether to renovate and continue living in their large old house or rebuild and live in a smaller house and rebuild it. The family chose to rebuild it because they thought they would be more comfortable living there in the future if they built a new home on a useful scale and with a good floor plan, rather than remodeling the entire house in the old house to improve the seismic and thermal performance of the house. While taking in the view from the house’s hilltop site, the eaves were enlarged to let in sunlight in summer and winter. The exterior walls were finished in baked cedar.

道路側から近づきます。 北側が一段低く成っている屋根の形が良く分かります。外壁は「焼杉」です。

北側正面外観 黒い四角のヴォリュームが三つ重なって、落ち着いた形を作っています。高い位置には横長のハイサイドライトが設置されています。

玄関側の外観。 古くからのブロック塀を残し、新たに同様の塀を作りました。屋根の重なりが特徴的な外観を作っています。

キッチン０１ アイランド型のキッチンは、落葉松三層合板とステンレスで作られました。

２階リビング 引戸を閉めると二室にすることもできます。北側のハイサイドライトから安定した天空光が注ぎます。また、高窓と南側の大きな窓が南北の自然な外気の流れを作ります。
